Intro
Disclaimer: The Clavelon Delta was provided to us at no charge courtesy of Linsoul. However, this was done with the understanding I was to give my honest thoughts and opinions of the Delta. The Clavelon Delta is available for purchase here should you find yourself interested in a pair, or feel free to use your links.
I was recommended to try these and I had never heard of Clavelon coming into this review. I tried not to search for the retail price of these before I reviewed them, so I had zero expectations. I admit I was a little thrown off by the cyberpunk theme as I thought it was a little “out of trend” if anything. That said, there have been many new releases from many new brands in recent times that have pleasantly surprised me so far, so I was looking forward to trying something new, especially from a company that specialises in “electro-acoustic manufacturing”.
Accessories
The Clavelon Delta earphones come with a strong and well-made OFC+ silver-plated cable that offers both 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended plug options. The silicone eartips, stored in a sturdy case, worked well right away and were easy to use. However, it was surprising that no carrying case was included, especially for the price of the Delta. This wouldn’t pose an issue for most but I guess most of what you’re paying for goes into the sound which isn’t too much of a bad thing if the sonic performance is great! (Foreshadowing?)
Build Quality and Fit
The Clavelon Delta earphones feature a simple, no-frills design that gets the job done without overcomplicating things. The build quality, while understated, feels reliable and functional. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable fit, which made them enjoyable to wear for extended listening sessions. While the “cyberpunk-themed” packaging felt a bit over-the-top and didn’t quite resonate with me, I have no bone to pick with the earphones themselves. The included cable was nice and matched the overall design language of the earphones. The tips included were decent as well.

Bass
The bass on the Clavelon Delta earphones is really solid, with deep, clean sub-bass that has plenty of rumble. The mid-bass adds a nice fullness to the sound, making it feel balanced and musical without any bloat. It’s accurate and works well with the overall tuning. While a bit more punch and detail would be great, for the price, the bass is more than good enough and really enjoyable.
Mids
With a warm neutral tuning, the mids have much room to shine in the Delta’s tuning. The spaciousness of the mids is coupled with a very well-done imaging. Instrumentals and Jazz lines shine in the Delta. It helps that Delta has the technical capability to ensure that there is sufficient separation and clarity in each instrument to make this really enjoyable overall. I have a huge enjoyer of mids so the Delta killed it here. I was sold instantly and did not expect such a spectacular and enjoyable tuning.
Highs
The highs on the Delta are crisp but rather laid back. There is just enough to provide that tonal accuracy and air and the treble extends well in the higher frequencies to avoid sounding too claustrophobic. In fact, the Deltas seem to have a very wide and tall soundstage. There is no hint of sibilance and the highs play a very good complementary role and provide the finishing touch to ensure the Delta delivers a solid overall sonic performance.
Overall
The Delta is an amazing all-rounder that has nailed all the basics well for a neutral tuning with a boost of warmth in the lower end. I would think this makes it quite appealing to a huge majority of people and also very versatile across genres. I found that I was able to enjoy the Delta transitioning between Rock, Pop, Jazz, Acoustic, and EDM. The wide soundstage is very enjoyable and the separation of layers and accurate imaging make the listening experience very engaging and immersive.
Conclusion
It has been a while since my expectations have been exceeded so much and the Clavelon Delta is definitely not a pair to be glossed over. I will be keeping this one close at hand as part of my rotation for on-the-go use. They pretty much satisfy what I look for in an IEM, from the tuning to the soundstage, and imaging. They are a joy to listen to and put a smile on my face sometimes. It is moments like this that remind me why I enjoy this hobby so much. There are definitely areas that can be improved and technical limitations of what the Delta can achieve, but remember the Delta’s relatively budget-friendly price tag. It is priced perfectly for anyone thinking to get their first dedicated IEM without spending too much. I would recommend the Deltas to anyone who is looking for an IEM and has a preference that matches what I’ve described. Even if you think that you have slightly different preferences, I would still maintain these are worth a shot and that they are objectively amazing.
